Quickie RP fight.

Just quickie RP fight. If you're not one of the ones fighting, then please refrain from posting. You know who you are.

Sajan entered the arena with some hesitancy. It was a good way to make money, but some people got a little too into it. There were a little too many fatalities for his taste. Nonetheless it was also a good way to test out his abilities. So here he was. He was signed up for a three way battle. He pulled up a stool to wait for the other contestants.

Duranka was already waiting patiently in the room. He'd been there since the previous night. The arena hadn't gotten much activity of late. Glancing at the new entrance he shrugged lightly and kept on sitting in the corner and sharpening his blade, admiring and remembering it's origins for a moment before stopping and simply waiting for the next opponent to arrive.

3 person match. Any more people than 2 made things exponentially more difficult, but the prize was always worth it. Typhos was an expert. He could handle it.

Typhos entered the waiting room and examined his foes. Two heavyweights. Good. One with a sword, one unarmed. The unarmed one probably used a hidden fighting method, very few fighters made it with their bare hands. Readying to fight, Typhos sat in a corner and watched his to-be-foes carefully.

An announcment rang through the halls, "Will Sajan, Duranka, and Typhos please report to the Arena!" Not much to say about that. He stood up and walked to the large arena. It was completely flat and made out of earth. Perfect.

Snickered as he looked out into the plain arena. "This...will be interesting." He murmured as he stepped out. "Do I turn it into sand? Break the ground beneath their feet? Both? Oh so many choices..." He thought as he kept making his way, brandishing his sword lazily and heading for the nearest wall.

Typhos followed. Flat ground? That's a shame. Oh well, I still have two anchor points. Typhos entered the arena and took his place.

"Three, two, one, GO!" First thing's first, create a defense. Immediately Sajan formed a pillar below himself, easily rising more than fifty feet up.

Glanced at the half naked monk looking dude and raised an eyebrow. "Earth bender, huh?" He mused before making a double fisted punch towards the pillar and turning it to dust, consequently sending him falling to the ground most likely.

Earth benders. Great. Well, no changing things now. Typhos began to move casually towards the taller one, the one with the sword. He drew the necessary instruments.

Knowing that someone would be going to knock him down, Sajan was prepared. He pulled his feet behind him as he fell and struck the ground with both of his knees. Two earth disks flew out of the ground and landed in Sajan's hands as he stood up. A quick lash around and they were both flying toward the two other combatants.

Duranka chuckled and waited for the right moment to act. Putting his modified bending style to use he let the disc close in on him then assumed a fluid yet firmly rooted stance, narrowly sidestepping the disc while als pulling it with him. Whipping around in the blink of an eye the disc was then headed towards the third combatant who hadn't seemed to be doing too much so far other than pull things out of his clothing and get rocks chucked at him.

The two disks flew at him like giant stone frisbees. Continuing to walk forwards, Typhos waited until the last possible second, then hopped onto the discus. From here, he hopped onto the next discus, and then to the ground, from where he pursued his target more aggressively.

This one will be a little harder to defeat. He acts like an airbender, but uses none of the bending disciplines Sajan knew of. "No matter..." Producing five more disks Sajan threw three of them at the strange airbender like person and two of them at the other man.

Duranka began becoming annoyed of the same trick, deciding to add a small twist this time. Instead of redirecting them he stood his ground like a normal Earth bender would and broke them to pieces with a few decisive slashes with his sword. Shortly after he then made a quick slash across the ground and shanneled his bending through it, sending a sharp wave of rubble towards the one who showed no signs of being a bender yet.

Two on one, and both earthbending attacks. Typhos began to run away from the first stone disk, and drew a hook-bladed dagger. As the disk caught up to him, he stepped to the side and dug the dagger in deeply, using the momentum of it spinning to pull him along, then let go at the peak so he flew into the air in the swordsman's direction. While in the air he threw 3 shuriken at the swordsman and 3 more at the other bender.

There was no way that the disks were going to actually hit the strange man, so Sajan pulled a sword from the ground. Meanwhile, the shuriken barely nicked his forearm. Ignoring the minimal pain he ran toward the other earthbender.

Easily were the three shuriken deflected, and immediately countered with a few small boulders. Wanting to stir things up he began turning a large amount of ground near him to sand and dust. Then he patiently waited for someone to throw something his way.

The boulders skimmed him, but he rolled off of them. Tiring of the games, he created a handful of strings, and shot them out in the direction of the swordsman.

It seemed as though the strange man was attacking the other bender, so naturally Sajan attacked the attacker. He continued to run hoping to slash at the man.

Duranka shifted and kept the small tempest of sand moving around him pushing away just about everything that would come his way. They easily caught the strings and pushed them aside, keeping him easily out of harms way. Glancing at the monk dude he then began breaking the ground around his feet, shifting it into sand.

Lengthening the strings he already cast, Typhos flicked them so they looped around the sphere of sand. Keeping an eye on the bald earthbender as he approached, Typhos proceeded to loop again and again, entangling his strings so that they created something of a lasso. Giving a great pull, the strings cut through the sphere of sand and enclosed upon the man inside.

Sajan reached the string man. He started to slash and as he walked, earthbended stalagmites following the string man. Hopefully he would land a hit somewhere.

Duranka watched and saw the strings quickly begin closing in on him through his vortex of sand. Quickly bringing up his sword he held it between his body and the strings, watching them rend themselves in two before even reaching him. The sand then quickly pulled them out of the way. Shifting his stance and slightly again the sand shifted into a more solid state as more was made and took the shape of many tendrils that weaved and bobbed.

His previous strings severed and his attention diverted, he concerned himself more with the bald bender. Seeing an opportunity, he dashed straight for the man, sidestepping a sword swing and palm-thrusting the man in the chest. As his hand left the man, 5 hooks from each fingertip did not. He quickly wove strings into the loops on each hook, and as the sword came down for him, he sidestepped to the other side, bringing the strings up under the man's armpit. Casting out a loop to encircle the man's torso, he spent the rest of his effort dodging the spikes as awkwardly as possible, leaving a weaving trail of strings entangled in the mess of stalagmites. One stalagmite caught the back of his leg, but he proceeded on.
